Sheffield CAB Debt Support Unit

We offer a consultancy service for Sheffield advice centres and other organisations who wish to assist people with problem debts.  This service involves ‘advising the adviser’ – so you would remain responsible for dealing with the client but would have access to our knowledge of debt advice and other resources to help you.  This service is aimed primarily at advice centres but is also available, for occasional use, to, for example:

• Housing officers
• Health workers
• “Supporting People” projects
• Social workers
• Probation officers

The consultancy service can provide assistance with all aspects of personal debt and we will be pleased to confirm our advice in writing and provide further information resources as appropriate.
